Our farm share delivers a curated selection of local produce straight to you.

FARM SHARES

CSA - community shared agriculture - is one of the best ways to build a relationship with your farmers throughout the entire growing season. Rio Lucero Farms grows through many micro-seasons - from cold-loving crops (kale, chard, peas, radishes, etc.) to heat-loving crops (tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, beans, potatoes, sweet corn, onions, etc.), as well as year-round crops (lettuces, carrots, turnips, herbs, etc.).

A CSA allows you to come pick up a farm goody bag filled with an assortment of what’s in season over a 20-week period.

Yes — A CSA share benefits the community receiving the most fresh and nutrient dense foods, but it plays a vital role in supporting your farmers. Signing up for a CSA during the cold winter months helps cover the upfront costs a farm faces in the spring — especially during a time when farmers have little to no income, yet expenses are at their highest.
